Services Offered

Our practice is dedicated to providing you with the safest and most convenient treatment options available.

Teeth Whitening

With so many options, it can be overwhelming to choose the best method to whiten your smile.  The best way to begin any teeth-whitening regimen is to schedule an appointment to talk to Dr. Farrey or Dr. Bell about customized options to help you achieve the most beautiful, natural-looking smile possible.

Root Canal

Root canal treatment can usually be completed in one visit.  During treatment, your dentist removes the affected tissue.  Next, the interior of the tooth will be cleaned and sealed.  If your tooth had extensive decay, your dentist may suggest placing a crown to protect the tooth from breakage.

Invisalign

Would you like to have straighter teeth?  Do you want to have better oral health for the rest of your life?  Invisalign clear aligners could be the answer to give you the beautiful smile you desire.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin pieces of strong, tooth shaped porcelain custom fabricated by a specialized artist in a dental laboratory.  The veneers can be made to drastically change the shape and color of your teeth.  They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautiful smile.

Dental Check-Up

The health of your teeth and mouth is very important to the well-being of your entire body, and visiting your dentist for a comprehensive exam and cleaning is essential.  The American Dental Association recommends that you visit your dentist at least every six months to ensure your teeth and gums stay healthy and your smile stays beautiful.

Crowns

Porcelain crowns (tooth colored crowns) closely mimic the appearance of natural teeth.  They are highly durable and will last many years.  Porcelain crowns are custom made to match the color, size, and shape of your teeth.  They will give you a natural, long-lasting, and beautiful smile.

Bridges

Dental bridges are used to replace a missing tooth or teeth.  They are supported by the teeth on either side of the missing tooth.  A dental bridge will improve your ability to chew and speak as well as your smile.  In addition, dental bridges can help keep your jaw bones and face from changing shape, as they tend to do when a person is missing teeth.

Composite Fillings

A composite (tooth colored) filling repairs a tooth that is affected by decay, cracks, spacing between teeth, and wear.  The affected portion of the tooth is removed and rebuilt with a composite filling.  Composite fillings are the most widely used today.

Dental Impants

Most people don’t need to know about dental implants until they need to get one.  Implants can replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, and even provide support for dentures. Implants work like a natural tooth root, acting as part of your jaw.

Mouthguards

Dental mouthguards are custom appliances worn over the top of the teeth to help protect them from damage during activity or because of bruxism (clenching or grinding your teeth).  There are different types of guards, and while it can be tempting to purchase something over the counter, this is often not the best option for your dental health.  Please call our office to schedule an appointment to discuss your individual needs with our doctors.

Periodontal Therapies

A complete periodontal exam of the mouth will be done before any treatment is performed or recommended.  There are both surgical and nonsurgical treatments your dentist may choose to perform to treat periodontitis, depending upon the condition of the teeth, gums, and the bone supporting the teeth.

TMJ Disorder

The lives of an estimated ten million Americans are impacted by TMJ disorders.  TMJ problems are often misdiagnosed or masked with pain medications.  Our doctors offer a healthier path to relief.  Call our office to schedule an appointment for an evaluation to see how we can help you fell like yourself again.

Drs. Farrey and Bell provide Cosmetic, Restorative, and Family Dentistry to the Metropolitan Washington DC, Arlington, Alexandria, McLean, Falls Church, and surrounding Northern Virginia areas.
